Christmas morning will herald in the joyous celebration of the birth of the Christchild, with a nod to the tinsel and baubles that have become so much associated with modern Christmases.
With due reverence, we can thank those who have promoted Christmas as a time to be joyful in the act of giving, and to ensure that those in need are remembered and provided for.
We can thank Charles Dickens for his moving reminder that poverty and ignorance, above all, are to be feared. And we will seek to 'find Jesus ' in all of this. Do come; children bring an adult. Crackers will be involved!
