THE PARADOX OF PRAYER
Starting week commencing 8th April 2024, EMC Cell Groups will be exploring the difficulties of prayer using resources produced by the Methodist Church titled 'Sunshine and Showers'. The material explores the apparent contradictions in prayer - we pray for healing but people still fall ill, we pray for peace but there seems to be ever increasing violence. So why pray? You can see more detail below.
You are more than welcome to join one of the groups - if you wish just for the duration of this topic. There are currently 3 groups which meet every other week - Monday afternoon, Tuesday evening and Thursday morning. Additional groups can be arranged if there is sufficient demand.
